The kitchens in the outpost cabins are ready with everything you need to cook up a meal – just bring your groceries and beverage of choice. Kenora offers 3 major grocery stores for your convenience – Safeway, Tracy’s No Frills and the Wholesale club.

We recommend purchasing bait in Kenora beforehand. Let us know and we can arrange your bait order for you and will have it ready for your departure to Walleye Lake Outposts.

Every angler that visits Walleye Lake Outposts must have an Ontario Fishing License and Outdoors Card.

FISHING AT WALLEYE LAKE IS AT ITS PEAK DURING THE MONTHS OF JUNE, JULY & AUGUST WHEN IT’S COMMON TO CATCH 50-100

fish per day.

Fishing season at Walleye Lake Outposts is from May – October. Walleye and Northern Pike are caught in great numbers during our peak summer months. Smallmouth Bass are biting June through August, when the fish are actively looking for food and ready to strike your favorite lure. Make your reservations early if you plan to fish in Canada during these summer months.

September offers cooler days, less bugs, fall colors of oranges, reds and yellows, and decent walleye catches, too. Give us a call today to book your next Ontario fly-in fishing experience.
